I got custody of my 3 kids with autism almost 5 years ago and I have autism. Here is some of the beginning of our story. It has been quite the journey. started off with just a phone call and come and get them. We didn't even have a bed. Nothing else matters when you get 3 precious babies who need you. Everything becomes about them and raising kids with autism and meeting all their needs no matter what it takes. Here is a small part of our story on off the cuff with a surprise visit from Ricki.
