Five ways we help our children navigate the world

Five ways we help our children navigate the world

Tina and Ann discuss an article from Family Education. The duo discuss keeping an open door policy even when our kids come to us with the tough stuff.  Tina had an amazing quote, "Don't judge anyone on how they handle a pain you've never felt." And since, we believe that everyone's experiences are different, to them, we believe in loving people where they are. People do remember how you make them feel. We need to be welcoming and listen to our children, no matter how hard.  Holding on to the positives, no matter how small, is hugely important, as well. The two discuss how to bring screen time to life and how to utilize those times to make memories.  Learning apps are discussed and Ann talks about TickTalk watches. The watch tracks our children's location and allows them to push a button calling us directly.
Tina and Ann also discuss the X plan and other helpful tools to keep our kids safe.

Quote: “A child’s mental health is just as important as their physical health and deserves the same quality of support. No one would feel embarrassed about seeking help for a child if they broke their arm–and we really should be equally ready to support a child coping with emotional difficulties.” Kate Middleton
